As the title suggests, I’m here to describe to you some unfortunate yet one-of-a-kind snapshots to brighten up your day, while you’re on the requested quarantine.

A long time ago (last October), when borders were open and epidemics were bed-time stories narrated by grandmas, my friend Maria and I (nowadays we prefer to be called Mareya’s duo but that’s another story) decided to go on an adventure in Croatia for two weeks. Coronavirus: How to Handle Anxiety

On one hand, we can’t simply ignore the present alarming situation and keep going like nothing is happening. On the other hand, we for sure shouldn’t fall into the other extreme and succumb to stress and anxiety. Inevitably, the recent events trigger anxiety in all of us, no matter how emotionally and psychically stable we (think we) are. Coronavirus in the Czech Republic IX: MOI Offices Operating Limited from March, 16, 2020

In connection with the state of the emergency in the Czech Republic and the prevention of coronavirus, the activities at the offices of the Ministry of the Interior dealing with foreigners’ residence permits will be limited from 16 March 2020.

Coronavirus in the Czech Republic VII: Traveling from March 16, 2020

From Monday 0:00 AM, March 16, no tourists will be allowed to enter the country, even if they arrive from safe countries. That means that all foreigners who need to get into the Czech Republic but don’t have a residence permit, have to return by this time.
