BREXIT: Why Apply Now for Temporary Residence Permit?

Are you from the United Kingdom? Then we have an important message for you. Obtain your Czech temporary residence permit as soon as possible. You can get the residence permit in just 30 days and secure your unrestricted stay in the Czech Republic for another 10 years. We recommend you do that straight away as you are EU citizens only until the end of 2020.

As we all know, the end of the year is approaching and so is Brexit. The United Kingdom will leave the European Union from 2021, so new and stricter rules will apply. For this reason, it is crucial that British citizens apply for a residence permit so that they can continue to stay, live, work or study in the Czech Republic in 2021 without any problem.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

  • You should register as a resident in the Czech Republic. If you are resident in the Czech Republic before the transition period ends on 31 December 2020, you will be able to stay. You need to secure a Czech residence permit if you want to guarantee your stay in the Czech Republic.
  • Don’t leave it to the last minute. We will guide you through the entire process and we will help you with all the paperwork to get your permit until December 31, 2020.

NOTE: If you are entitled to permanent residence in the Czech Republic, apply for it now. If you can apply for a Permanent Residence Permit during the transition period – until the end of 2020, you don’t have to prove your knowledge of the Czech language, meaning no exam.
