With its area and a total population of 300,000, the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region is the third-largest city of the Czech Republic. Ostrava is located 10 kilometers south of the Polish and 50 kilometers west of the Slovak border. It is considered one of the greenest cities in the Czech Republic. Ostrava is also an important economic & cultural center.
