Are You Looking for Pianos That Are Available to Public? There Are Two Hidden Ones in Very Unique Place of Domeq!

Domeq in Brno creates a modern, supportive environment for its tenants. The combination of privacy, social life, and an inspirational atmosphere has led to a cultural melting pot where modern professionals can find their home and enjoy the music from different cultures.

Have you noticed the two pianos in Domeq? They are a part of Klavíry pro Brno (Pianos for Brno).

The nonprofit project was initiated by collectors of old pianos. Beginning in 2013, they searched for, bought, and repaired the pianos before finally putting them into public use. These collectors are giving the pianos a second chance at life and another opportunity to bring people joy.

Domeq decided to open the pianos to the public from 10:00 – 21:00 each day in order to allow other people to visit and enjoy the pianos. Domeq is aiming to bring attention to the business industrial zone. Many people don’t venture far from the city center, but Pianos for Brno is showing people that there is life here too!

More and more groups are joining the project after seeing the positive reactions it has received. People are allowing the nonprofit organization use their old pianos to leave in public spaces such as the Brno Airport and now Domeq!

Experience the beauty of the Pianos for Brno project by visiting Domeq today or by taking part in one of our MeetUp Jam Sessions we organize there every 2nd month!
