Brno celebrates spring with Future Shorts 2014 Spring Edition, a word-of-mouth successful event that unites people with cinema and arts.

It will be held on May 14th with doors opening at 20:00 at Fleda Club; this spacious venue will host the constantly growing audience, which becomes part of the biggest pop-up film festival around the world.

Tickets cost 80 CZK in presale, while at the venue entrance will be 100 CZK.

With seven films from five countries, this season’s program takes us on a journey where in every stop we meet different characters who all want to share their stories, about romance and love, children’s innocence and imagination, personal fears and responsibilities, politics and globalization.

Join us on this stroll to fiction and animation world, throughout some of the most exciting and award-winning short films of the recent years.

All films are subtitled in both Czech and English, serving the purpose of the festival to bring together locals and expats, thus revealing the multicultural face of the city.

True to the festival’s aim for a different experience of cinema, an afterparty with DJ sets will follow the screenings.
