What do you do at Foreigners.cz?
I am the PR Intern. I take care of the social media content, Facebook, Blog and Instagram, and support the Relocation Consultants, the Office Coordinator and the PR Manager in their tasks.
When did you start working at the agency? How do you remember your first days?
I started to work at the agency on 22nd September. I remember it was the day when I had to remember a lot of information and try to adapt to a totally different environment, where people mostly speak Czech.
What part of your job is your favourite?
Finding interesting content to put on Facebook that people would like to see.
And the least favourite?
Puting up millions of apartment ads in a row. It can take up all morning, not very exciting.
What did you actually want to become when you were a child?
Traffic Warden. I liked to see them control all the traffic. It looked like a lot of fun to do it.
Where are you from? Have you ever lived outside the Czech Republic?
I am from Portugal. I have lived there all my live, except for six months in Poland.
What is your favourite country? Why?
Czech Republic. Beautiful country, with great weather and the nicest people you can meet.
What is your favourite spot in Brno?
My favourite spot in Brno is the pub Pegas, great traditional beer and great food for affordable prices.
Can you share a funny story from your workplace?
When I arrived, everybody warned me to be careful with the turtle, that it bites people. But with me, the turtle just allowed me to pet it, and started to swim like crazy when I moved my fingers.
What do you like to do outside the office?
I love to do exercise, and watch TV shows.
Is there anything you absolutely cannot live without?
Good food. I can’t live without eating delicious dishes or sweets. I am not truly happy.
Is there a language that you haven’t learned but you would love to do so?
Italian. Whatever you are talking about, you always sound good when you speak in Italian
