Do you want to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Brno? There are restaurants offering a special menu consisted of the traditional Thanksgiving dishes.
Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday observed in the United States of America on the fourth Thursday of November. Czechs don’t have such a holiday but still, there are options how to enjoy the atmosphere and food typical for a Thanksgiving party.
At Butchers’s they have prepared this Thanksgiving menu: Houston cabbage soup, Turkey potato burger Roast turkey with chestnut, Snowmen gingerbread.
East Village Bar & Dinner
Thanks giving dinner will be served at East Village Bar & Dinner. As usual, it will be their special menu: Deep fried turkey, Bread stuffing with herbs, Sweet potato casserole, Sauteed green beans with bacon. The entire menu costs 150 CZK.

In Sborovna there is no a Thanksgiving menu prepared in advance for guests but you can order it. Just choose the day when you want to eat a turkey (doesn’t have to be Thursday, necessarily) and make your reservation. The rough cost of one turkey meal is 250 CZK.

An International Thanksgiving Dinner
If you prefer more privacy and company of other foreigners you can join the international version of Thanksgiving Dinner enriched with musical presentations of Czech, English, and Philippine songs. The menu will be inspired mainly by different flavors of these countries.
