In this article, we will guide you through the parking systems and rules in several Czech cities.<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Every city is divided into different parking zones.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Am I a resident or a subscriber? What is short-term parking? Let\u2019s begin with an <\/span>explanation<\/b> of some of the basic terms to help you understand the <\/span>rules<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n In <\/span>Prague<\/b><\/a>, you will find three types of parking zones:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Orange zones<\/b> are intended for <\/span>short-term parking<\/b> after payment of the fee. Just look out for the <\/span>time restrictions<\/b> that apply here. The <\/span>fees<\/b> vary from district to district and can be found on site or on the internet.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In <\/span>Brno<\/b><\/a>, the parking is based on a <\/span>flower principle<\/b>. The <\/span>center of the flower<\/b> represents your residential or business address where is your parking base. The <\/span>petals<\/b> are neighboring areas where you are allowed to park as well. This system gives <\/span>privilege for residents<\/b> and subscribers<\/b> to have more parking space.<\/span><\/p>\n There are three zones:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Residents and subscribers in zone A and B have <\/span>200 visitor hours for free. <\/b>They can buy another <\/span>100 hours per year<\/b>. In zone C it is <\/span>100+50 visitor hours<\/b>. Visitor’s parking during <\/span>weekends is free.<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In <\/span>Pilsen<\/b><\/a>, there are parking <\/span>zones A, B, C, D, <\/b>and <\/span>F<\/b>. These zones are designated for owners of a <\/span>parking card<\/b>. There are <\/span>two types <\/b>of cards. <\/span>Parking card P <\/b>is a prepaid card for <\/span>commercial entities<\/b> that are located in the paid parking zones<\/span>. <\/b>The prices depend on the zone<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n Parking card R <\/b>is a residential parking card. The <\/span>permit will cost<\/b> you 100CZK\/month, 220CZK\/3 months, 380CZK\/6 months, or 700CZK\/year. Parking <\/span>fees<\/b> for <\/span>short-term parking <\/b>depend on the zone.
