#ImmiUpdatesCzechia<\/b><\/a> The set of laws known as <\/b>\u201cLex Ukraine\u201d<\/b><\/a> has been amended. Its new version became valid on 28 June. This article sums up the most important information for all those who are in the Czech Republic under <\/b>temporary protection<\/b><\/a>. We\u2019ll also reveal under what conditions you can relocate to Czechia if you\u2019re Russian or Belarusian.<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Foreigners entitled to temporary protection cannot apply for other permits.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The first important information is that <\/span>refugees under temporary protection<\/b><\/a> who were automatically provided with <\/span>health insurance<\/b><\/a> can only count on this insurance <\/span>for 150 days<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This <\/span>does not apply<\/b> to you if you are a refugee with <\/span>temporary protection<\/b> aged below 18 or over 65<\/b>, a student of <\/span>secondary school or <\/b>university<\/b><\/a> who\u2019s aged<\/span> below 26<\/b> or a <\/span>full-time employee<\/b><\/a>. All these people automatically participate in <\/span>public health insurance.<\/b><\/p>\n However, If you don\u2019t fall under any of these categories, you need to either:<\/b><\/p>\n You should also make sure to <\/span>unregister with the insurance company<\/b> if you decide to <\/span>return to Ukraine<\/b>. If you <\/span>don\u2019t or forget to do this<\/b>, you might create a<\/span> debt <\/b>with the company, which might lead to a <\/span>visa denial<\/b> in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The new version of \u201cLex Ukraine\u201d also amends the possibilities of <\/span>applying for other kinds<\/b> of permits aside from <\/span>temporary protection. <\/b>If you are entitled to <\/span>temporary protection <\/b>or already have <\/span>temporary protection, <\/b>you <\/span>cannot apply<\/b> for any other permit at <\/span>Czech embassies abroad<\/b>. You can\u2019t change your temporary protection to an <\/span>employee or blue card<\/b><\/a> either.<\/span><\/p>\n The only exception concerns<\/span> long-term residence permit for the purpose of unification<\/b>, which you can apply for <\/span>after 6 months of temporary protection<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\nHealth insurance under temporary protection<\/span><\/h1>\n
