As we found out when dealing with visa documents of our client, DHL, the global market leader in the logistics, has stopped its delivery service to Iran. The reason is a business decision.
Sanctions were put on Iran and the number of delivery went down. Therefore, it does not pay off to deliver to Iran for DHL company. DHL local office in Iran has been closed.
DHL still delivers to other sanctioned countries such as North Korea, Lybia, SAE.
Amarex, another delivery company, also has stopped their delivery service to Iran.
For how long will this embargo last? No one can say, till this moment. For further development of this situation keep an eye on our blog and follow us on Facebook where we keep posting practical information regarding the life of an expat in the Czech Republic.
