Why Study in the Czech Republic?

Czech Republic has a long tradition of high quality university education. As a matter of fact, Charles University, founded in 1348, is one of the oldest European universities.   1. This is helpful. I have applied for a student visa in December 2015 and still waiting to hear the results. I hear one can wait for three months. I hope and believe that i’ll get the visa.

  2. Hi Anna! I’m brazilian and i want go to BRNO as soon as possible to make an university.. I heard about any person can do a public university, just have talk checo.. So I would like to know if this is true and if it’s good I’ll go to make a checo course to get in a public university.. If it’s not true, how I have to do for get a student visa, to go for make a english course and after get in a private university??? Thanks dor the attention!

    1. Hi Erika, thanks for your comment! This is true – if you study in a public Czech university in Czech such education is available for anybody (locals and foreigners) and is for free! To learn Czech you can sign in a Czech language course, this will give you an opportunity to apply for a student visa.

    I’m Indian and I intend to send my son for pursuing Engineering degree in Czech Republic. Prior to that once his secondary school exams are over in March 2017 I want to send him to Czech for beginners Czech language course (preferably April & May). Please advise us the formalities related to visa, course institution, fees and accommodation details.

    I am Indian student interested in applying for a Bachelors in Finance taught in English language.

    I am 17 years of age and am awaiting my A level results by May 2018.
    I have scored an 8 on my recent IELTS test and am hopeful of getting between 85-95 percentile on my A levels.

    Can you advice me as to which universities I can apply and any scholarships that I can possibly be awarded?
